First Step

We’re Here to Help Your Family Take the First Step

Choosing residential treatment for your son can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate the process alone. Our admissions team is here to guide your family through each step—from the initial consultation and insurance verification to planning your child’s arrival.

Our goal is to make the admissions process clear, supportive, and efficient so your family can focus on getting the help your son needs.

When to Take the Next Step

Sadness
Suicidal Ideation
Behavioral Signal

Four in ten adolescents report persistent sadness or hopelessness.

One in five report seriously considering suicide.

Many adolescents show signs of distress long before receiving a diagnosis.

If you’re noticing changes in your child’s mood, behavior, or functioning, early intervention can make a meaningful difference. Move from concern → action.

Step 1 – Initial Consultation

The process begins with a confidential phone call or form submission. During this conversation, our admissions team will learn more about your child’s situation and help determine whether residential treatment may be appropriate.

Step 2 – Clinical Assessment

If residential care may be a good fit, our team will conduct a more detailed assessment. This helps us understand your child’s mental health history, current symptoms, and treatment needs.

Step 3 – Insurance Verification

Our admissions specialists will verify your insurance benefits and help explain coverage options so you understand potential costs before admission.

Step 4 – Treatment Planning

Once accepted into the program, our clinical team prepares an initial treatment plan and coordinates the next steps for admission.

Step 5 – Arrival and Orientation

On arrival day, families complete intake paperwork, review program guidelines, and meet members of the care team who will support your son throughout treatment.
